OpenAI board yesterday announced the ousting of CEO, Sam Altman as well as other important executives from top hierarchical job roles. However, Sam Altman reached out to X to share his reaction to his OpenAI exit.

He expressed gratitude towards the AI organization saying “I loved my time at openai. It was transformative for me personally, and hopefully the world a little bit. most of all I loved working with such talented people.”

In the following post, Sam thanked the people who are messaging in support of the former OpenAI chief

“I love you all. Today was a weird experience in many ways. but one unexpected one is that it has been sorta of like reading your own eulogy while you’re still alive. The outpouring of love is awesome. One takeaway: go tell your friends how great you think they are” wrote Altman.

However, he later posted a one-liner, which seems more like a threat to the OpenAI board of directors.

“if I start going off, the openai board should go after me for the full value of my shares” Sam posted on X on Friday. However, the former OpenAI chief doesn’t have any shares at this AI firm.
