Tesla FSD Trial and Demo Drive: Here’s what you need to know
Over the past 24 hours, Tesla and its CEO have made some new announcements regarding the FSD trial and demo drive for customers in the U.S. Below you can check a wrap-up of the information you should know.
For New Buyers:
Tesla started a full self-driving capability trial for new buyers, who will receive it for a month with a new vehicle purchase. FSD on the other hand could be added for $12,000 as an add-on.
To be mentioned, FSD brings all Autopilot and Enhanced Autopilot features, Autosteer on city streets and traffic lights and stop sign control.
Demo Drive At Delivery:
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla sent an email last night to employees and confirmed that customers in North America will get a short test ride with FSD Beta V12.3.1 before handing over the new Tesla.
Demo for Serviced Cars:
Musk, in a follow-up email, said that this new demo drive will also be applied to cars that are returned from service.

A month for All Teslas
Furthermore, Musk confirmed that Tesla car owners in the U.S. will get one month of FSD trial by this week.
These are major developments in full self-driving and the company’s CEO wants to rally ahead in sales with these new FSD promotions.
This recalls his post from last year where Musk mentioned “Once FSD is super smooth (not just safe), we will roll out a free month trial for all cars in North America.”
Tesla is currently testing FSD version 12 in the U.S. and the company is releasing new beta builds with improvements. Reviews from testers suggest that FSD is much smoother than version 11.
