Tesla FSD Beta v12.3 rolling widely for subscribers in the U.S.

Tesla is releasing full-self driving (FSD) Beta v12.3 widely for FSD subscribers across the U.S. The latest rollout comes amid the company testing new builds of this autopilot technology.

Tesla released FSD version 12 in December last year and remained limited to employees. The new version 12 has a major upgrade with an end-to-end neural network trained with millions of video clips.

End-to-end machine learning technology allows to train of each neural network for complex tasks using input directly from raw input data without any manual interpretation.

This enables Tesla to process raw training footage with the compute system unlike the FSD beta version 11.

Early impressions of the Tesla FSD Beta version 12.3 show that the system is more responsive during drive, object, and traffic detection as well as braking and acceleration.

Now, a wide release of the program getting more FSD subscribers aboard.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla said that “v12 marks a new era in the path to full autonomy” during Q4 and 2023 earning calls in January. He also mentioned that the v12 will release for all customers across, around 400,000 subscribers in North America.

The FSD v12.3 is released in batches and expands gradually for the subscribers. Tesla plans to add more improvements to FSD and will release new OTA updates to improve the v12 series.
