Wallbox Pulsar Pro launches for shared EV charging spaces

Electric vehicle (EV) charger company, Wallbox released a new Pulsar Pro charger designed for shared charging spaces such as multi-unit residential and commercial buildings.

The latest launch follows the recent announcement of the Supernova 180 DC fast EV charger.

Wallbox Pulsar Pro EV charger comes with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) access control for user authentication. It brings dynamic power sharing to manage energy distribution for up to 50 chargers.

Pulsar Pro equips Mywallbox software or partner platforms with OCPP compatibility that enables the charger to serve commercial business requirements. The charger is ISO 15118 certified for plug and charges safety protocol.

Its NEMA Type 4 requirements protect against impacts, water, and dust. It has a new proprietary platform for fast processing and better performance in a compact design.

In terms of indication, the charger has a halo lighting that shows the charging status at a glance.

Wallbox says that the installation of this new charger has been simplified to save time and costs. The charger maker is also offering the myWallbox business portal to enable remote charger management, payment processing, user access controls, and reporting.

Wallbox Pursar Pro was used in over 140 multifamily sites. The charger is now available to order through Wallbox’s certified installers and distributors across the U.S.
