Apple is in early stage of shaping M4 MacBook Pro
Apple has started working on the initial development of M4 chip-equipped MacBook Pro notebooks for customers.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple “just started formal development” of a new MacBook Pro with M4 chipset. However, Mark Gurman didn’t provide any details about the specifications or the design of this upcoming MacBook.
Apple released its new MacBook Pro series in October 2023 featuring M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chipsets. The company on the other hand discontinued the 13-inch MacBook Pro to replace it with a new model.
These chips are also used in iMac and MacBook Air devices.
Speaking of Air, the company recently brought the 2024 MacBook Air series with an M3 chipset. These also have fast Wi-Fi access with Wi-Fi 6E.
The M4 chip will be produced by the world’s largest chip producer – TSMC and it could use enhanced 3nm process technology.
This will provide not only better performance but also energy efficiency. More information about the M4 MacBook remains unknown.
