Ford increases F-150 Lightning EV prices upto $10,000
Ford Motor on Wednesday increased prices of some 2024 F-150 Lightning models and also reduced prices of top models.
The entry-level Pro model now starts at $54,995 from $49,995 with an addition of $5,000. The XLT model has the highest $10,000 increase and it is now priced at $64,995 from the previous $54,995.
There’s a reduction of $7000 and 5000 respectively for Platinum and Platinum Black models, this 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning is now priced at $84,995 and $92,995 respectively.
Ford also some changes made in the pricing of the all-electric Mustang Mach-E in the past year. On the other hand, the Detroit automaker planned to cut F-10 lightning production by this year as a reaction to slow market demand.

Unlike its previous statement, Ford is now saying that the demand for the F-150 Lightning continues to grow and it is “America’s best-selling electric pickup after a record fourth quarter”.
The new price adjustment doesn’t include a mandatory $2,095 destination fee as well as any federal or local incentives for purchasing an all-electric vehicle.

- XLT 311 A (240-mile EPA-estimated range) from $54,995 to $64,995
- XLT 312 A (320-mile EPA-estimated range) from $69,995 to eliminated in 2024
- Flash (320-mile EPA-estimated range) is a new offering for $73,495
- Lariat (240-mile EPA-estimated range) from $69,995 to eliminated in 2024
- Lariat (320-mile EPA-estimated range) from $77,495 to $79,495
- Platinum (300-mile EPA-estimated range) from $91,995 to $84,995
- Platinum Black (300-mile EPA-estimated range) from $97,995 to $92,995
Ford has two electric vehicles qualifying for the $7,500 Federal tax credit in 2024 including the F-150 Lightning Extended Range and Standard Range 2022-24. Its Escape Plug-in Hybrid also qualified for a $3,750 tax credit.
