Toyota launches Bozhi 4X electric SUV starting at $25k
Toyota has released the Bozhi 4X pure electric SUV in China and it starts at 179,800 yuan (25,200 USD). It comes in four variants including:
- 615 Air Model priced at 179,800 yuan ($25,158)
- 615 Pro Model priced at 199,800 yuan ($27,957)
- 615 Max Model priced at 219,800 yuan ($30,755)
- 615 Four-wheel drive 560Max Model priced at 238,800 yuan ($33,414)
The parameters of this EV expand at 4690mm x 1860mm x 1650mm for length, width, and height respectively. It has a wheelbase of 2850mm and a minimum turning radius of 5.6 meters.
The SUV has a total power storage capacity of 66.7kWH lithium battery pack. With DC fast charging, it could refill the battery in 30 minutes from 30%-80% capacity.
It offers maximum motor power of 150kW, maximum torque 266.3Nm, and 0-50km/h acceleration within 3.8 seconds, while the Toyota Bozhi 4X could offer a maximum speed of 160km/h. The 615 Air, 615 Pro, and 615 Max models bring a 615km (CLTC) cruising range.
On the other hand, the four-wheel drive version has dual 80kW and 168.5 Nm permanent magnet synchronous motors. It could accelerate from 0-50km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 160 km/h. The FWD variant has 560km (CLTC) of cruising range.
Inside the vehicle, the base variant has a 7-inch control center screen, while the other three variants offer a 12.3-inch screen.
This medium size SUV is now available to buy in China and its global availability is not yet confirmed by the EV maker.
