Official Tesla launch in Saudi Arabia set for April 10

Tesla has announced that its first product launch is Saudi Arabia is happening on April 10 through a grand event. The company is hosting this launch in Riyadh, the capital of the oil giant.

It was previously reported that the American EV firm is planning to enter Saudi Arabia within a few months. It will open sale through pop-up stores and establish a showroom and service center. Tesla may also build a Supercharger network, which will be NACS enabled.

Tesla’s expansion could improve the EV sale momentum in the Middle Eastern country with huge oil output. Meanwhile, EVs are still very low in the market compared to engine vehicles based on the data revealed by 2024 PwC Electric Mobility Outlook. Similar results were also found in the charging stations, which were only around 100 in 2023.

“Explore our global bestselling lineup and step into a world powered by solar energy, sustained by batteries, and driven by electric vehicles” wrote Tesla in the invitation.

The event will be hosted at Bujairi Terrace, 7295 King Faisal Road, Riyadh Province 13711, Riyadh, from April 10, 2025, at 8PM to 11PM local time.

Tesla has confirmed that its Saudi Arabia launch event will showcase Cybercab, its autonomous steering wheel free vehicle and humanoid robot Optimus.

Tesla teams will be available on the spot to answer any questions about new product ownership, charging and more.
