EV Group (EVG) will open new Tesla Supercharging Stations in US

The EV Group (EVG) has announced a partnership with Tesla to open three Supercharging stations in the US.
The company has confirmed that it’s one of the earliest partners to own new Supercharging station locations in a joint venture with the EV company.
These locations will show up on Tesla maps and will be no different from Tesla’s own Supercharging station network. The stations will host V4 posts with magic Dock featuring the fastest charging technologies.
EVG is currently looking for A+ locations to partner and develop the Tesla Supercharging stations, including 12 stalls or more.

It’s good to see that EVG has selected V4 posts, which provides high charging rate and accessibility for EV owners. V4 Supercharger can deliver up to 325 kW, which will increase to 500kW in the near future. This is more than 250kW provided by the V3.
V4 also has longer charging cables than V3, providing more accessibility for NACS vehicles.
On the other hand, the Magic Dock adapter will enable non-Tesla EVs to use the Combined Charging System (CCS1) standard. This will reduce the requirement for a separate adapter through the built-in NACS-to-CCS1 adapter that unlocks via the Tesla app.
Max de Zegher, Chief of Tesla Supercharging has reacted to this new and said that this is not a joint venture and EVG is buying Superchargers with Tesla software and service.
In case, these chargers break down, Tesla will service and monitor their uptime and health.
