New Tesla Model Y Tour

Tesla has released a new Model Y in North America with new upgrades and we now have the first in-depth 1 hour inside-out tour to show us all the new things about this electric vehicle (EV).

This video is coming from Kyle Conner via the Out of Specs Review YouTube channel, who got a first-hand at the Model Y from Tesla China. He flew there to record this new EV and shared this in-depth first impression.

Here’s a brief introduction to Model Y before you jump to the tour video.

The new Model Y comes with a redesigned front. It has a new lightbar that stretches to both ends. The design is slimmer and sleeker compared to the old model. The headlights are now shifted to the air ducts area, this new change makes the front more appealing.

The EV maker has improved the wheels for range improvements. On the other hand, the rear side has a cross-car lamp as an indirect reflective body panel taillight. This new rear looks different from what we’ve seen in other EVs with a break lightbar.

Inside the EV you will see a new interior, these can be compared to the refreshed Model 3 released last year. The seats are now heated and ventilated. You will a wrap-around ambient lighting around the deck, which can be personalized via the front 15.4-inch front screen.

It has more sound speakers than the previous Model Y and provides better noise resistance.

The second row also has a new 8-inch screen, which can be used for climate control and entertainment. It has a new front camera for enhanced autopilot and actually smart summon capabilities.

Before you jump to the new Tesla Model Y tour, you should know that the video is captured from the Chinese version. So, there’s a chance you could find something that might be different from the global variant.
