Tesla releases FSD (Supervised) v13.2.4
Tesla has released software update version 2024.45.25.15 with FSD (Supervised) v13.2.4 bringing new upgrades to the AI4 vehicles. This version of the rollout is initially detected for Cybertruck and it may expand to other AI4 platforms with a different FSD version.
FSD v13 brings new upgrades to self-driving with improved object detection and better navigational capabilities. Over the past month, the EV maker has sent this FSD build to all of its AI4 vehicles including Model 3 and Ys.
FSD v13 is also adopted by Cybertruck, which has received self-driving support via an over-the-air software upgrade. The v13.2.4 brings the following improvements to the electric pickup truck.
- 36 Hz, full-resolution AI4 video inputs
- Native AI4 inputs and neural network architectures
- 4.2x data scaling
- 5x training compute scaling (enabled by the Cortex cluster)
- Reduced photon-to-control latency by 2x
- Speed Profiles on both City Streets and Highways
- Improved reward predictions for collision avoidance
- Dynamic routing around road closures, which displays them along an affected route when they are detected by the fleet
Some of these changelog features are already mentioned in the previous build but there might be new optimizations and improvements added to the software update that will be experienced by users when FSD is engaged.
