FSD (Supervised) v12.6.1 rolling out for HW3 vehicles
Tesla has released a new software update with build version 2024.45.25.15 including FSD (Supervised) v12.6.1 for HW3 (AI3) vehicles. Late last month, the EV maker released FSD 12.6 for the HW3 platform with new improvements and features.
The latest rollout is confirmed by various users on social media site X but the upgrade is limited to limited users. Below you can check the changelog to FSD (Supervised) v12.6.1:
- End to End on Highway
- Improved City Streets Behavior, which reduces false slowdowns and improves obstacle avoidance
- Customizable Speed Profiles, which apply to roads and highways with 50mps (80kps) or higher speed limit
- Earlier and more natural lane change decisions
- Redesigned controller for smoother, more accurate tracking
- Max Speed Update, where Autopilot determines the suitable speed within your allowed limit

Basically, the changelog is similar to the previous rollout but it may contain some bug fixes, new self-driving optimizations and other improvements for a better experience.
This is an initial release, and more users can grab the update as soon as the next batch expands to the public.
