Tesla rolls out trailer-friendly stall locations on the Supercharger map
Tesla is rolling out a new update supercharger map including new trailer-friendly stall locations allowing users to see trailer-compatible charging sites on the way to their journey.
The EV maker shared a Supercharger map image to show this new change. You can tap on the Supercharger pin to see if there are trailer-compatible stalls.
Once enabled, you can see the trailer-friendly Supercharger locations at the top of the charger list. Trailer Mode lets Tesla owners tow a trailer and adjust the vehicle’s features with this new adjustment.
Due to the combined length, the vehicle needs a large charging space. Therefore, Tesla is offering stalls optimized for trailer-friendly vehicles.
The trailer mode setting is available in Controls > Dynamics > Trailer Mode via touchscreen. After connection, the car will limit some autopilot features including rear parking functionality.
% of new Superchargers that are trailer-friendly is increasing. If we can add trailer-compatible stalls at a reasonable complexity & cost, we do. https://t.co/psLd9gDEfi
