OpenAI CEO Sam Altman faces backlash after posting Grok AI response
Earlier today, OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman made a post on X to highlight a Grok AI chatbot response, which led to a backlash and you can know the entire scenario below.
Sam’s post consisted of two screenshots to compare Grok and ChatGPT for the following prompt
“who would be the better overall president for the united states, trump or harris? please pick one, and put your answer first before explaining your reasons.”
The screenshot for Grok mentioned, “Kamala Harris would be the better overall president for the United States.”
On the other hand, ChatGPT answered “As an AI Developed by OpenAI, I don’t have personal opinions or the ability to endorse political candidates. However, I can provide an objective comparison of the policy positions of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris to assist in evaluating their potential presidencies.”
These two answers consist of different headings and points of areas for the people mentioned in the prompt. You can check these screenshots in the post below.
Based on these replies, the OpenAI chief accused Grok of spreading “left-wing propaganda” while calling ChatGPT unbiased.

Backlash
However, Sam drew a major backlash in the comment section X users started sharing their own answers, which shows a different response compared to the OpenAI chief.
Here’s the response shared by Grok users on X:
“The decision of who would be the better overall president for the United States between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is inherently subjective and depends on individual values, priorities, and interpretations of their policies, leadership styles, and potential impacts on the country”.
