Tesla is sending emails to get up to $17,500 in incentives on Model 3, Y, X, and S in Massachusetts, a great deal for customers. This incentive includes benefits from the state’s MOR-EV rebate program and federal tax incentives.

The total incentive includes $7,500 from the Federal and $3,000 from the MOR-EV program. The rebate is available on both new and used vehicles. The MSRP may not exceed $55,000 for new vehicles and the final price may not exceed $40,000 for used vehicles.

The rebate is only available for private individuals, a business, or a non-profit organization located and licensed in Massachusetts. Rebates are available for eligible vehicles when purchased or leased in and outside the Commonwealth.

The person receiving rebate benefits must retain the vehicle for at least 36 months from the purchase or lease date. During this time, the person cannot resale this vehicle.

New customers can increase the rebate with an additional $1,500 through the MOR-EV+ add-on if qualified for an income-qualifying application.

Once applied, users can claim the rebate at the point of sale by bringing qualifying documents to a participating dealer to receive the rebate amount on the newly purchased or leased vehicle.

You can also apply online and submit the required document within 90 days of purchasing or leasing the vehicle to receive a MOR-EV rebate. Read more about the MOR-EV rebate here.
