Tesla sending FSD v12.5.6.3 update with incremental optimizations
Tesla is now sending a new software update with version 2024.33.35 including Full Self Driving (FSD) v12.5.6.3 with incremental optimizations for all eligible cars. Last week, the EV maker released FSD v12.5.6.2 with a wide release of end-to-end on the highway.
FSD (Supervised) v12 upgrades the city-streets driving stack to a single end-to-end neural network trained on millions of video clips, replacing over 300k lines of explicit C++ code.
- Include vision-based attention monitoring with sunglasses
- Include End to End on Highway
- Earlier and more natural lane change decisions
- Updated Speed Profiles to now apply to roads and highways with 50mph (80kph) or higher speed limit
- Auto Set Speed has been updated to Max Speed.
Tesla is releasing FSD v12.5.6.3 in batches.
Another small wave of V12.5.6.3 went out to customers within the last hour! This makes two waves in less than 24 hours.
We’ll share when the next wave is at least 5-10x the size of this last one. https://t.co/sPlkowgAgE
