Polestar starts delivering US-built Polestar 3 electric vehicle
Polestar has officially started delivering the first US-built Polestar 3 electric vehicles (EVs) across North America.
In August this year, Polestar announced a milestone in the production journey with the Polestar 3 SUV in Ridgeville, South Carolina. It is the first time, a Polestar vehicle is manufactured in America.
This was a strategic decision by the company. This new electric vehicle (EV) is built on the same platform as the Volvo EX90. It has the highest standards in the electric vehicle (EV) industry.
Polestar 3 is available in a launch edition as inventory vehicles and a custom build for the 2025 model. The launch edition is available in long-range dual motor and long-range dual motor with a performance pack. Polestar 3 2025 custom configuration also has the same configuration options.
Among the most significant changes, the long-range dual motor brings 21-inch Plus wheels and the performance version has 22-inch performance wheels with Swedish gold valve caps.
On the other hand, the long-range dual motor has 315 miles of EPA range and 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds. Its motor delivers 360kW/489 hp. On the other hand, the performance version has 279 miles of EPA range, 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and its motor delivers 380kW/517 jp power.
