Refreshed Tesla Model Y is one of the most anticipated electric vehicles, which could launch next year and it’s rumored to feature the Cybercab like headlights.

The Model Y is the most sold SUV on the planet, which also makes it the first choice for family customers due to its sheer passenger space and performance. However, this EV still has a redesign pending, which is highly anticipated after the Upgrade Model 3 release.

Last year Tesla revealed a new Model 3 with an upgraded front and rear. It features slim headlights, better aerodynamics, and an improved interior with ambient lighting and materials.

X user @Tslachan has shared that the upcoming Model Y refresh might bring headlights similar to Cybercab. This autonomous robotaxi vehicle was unveiled at the We Robot event on October 10. The company has designed a Cybercab for two passengers and a rear luggage area. It’s fully operational with autonomous activities.

However, its outlook has elements from Cybertruck and Model 3. This makes it intriguing and modernized. The front has a light bar, which extends to both sides. The beams are slimmer than the new Model 3.

The existing Model Y has wide triangular headlights and the front maintains its bulky appearance. It would be interesting to see this EV with a lightbar to get a distinct look from Model 3.

It’s previously reported Tesla is planning to start refreshed Model Y trial production at Giga Shanghai by this month. The company is expected to produce 15 units a day to test and verify production challenges and spot issues to assure quality for mass production.

Meanwhile, Tesla has not announced a refresh for Model Y but it’s highly expected to release next year.
