iOS 18
Apple announced iOS 18 at the WWDC24 event and brought two major changes. That includes major home screen customizations and a revamped control center.
You can now customize the home screen and rearrange app icons to a new location without worrying about constraints. You can freely move them to any available slot on the screen.
If you have visibility issues, iOS 18 allows you to enlarge the app icons to the maximum size. That’s not it, you can change the app icon color to a solid, tint, or dark.
You can redesign the control center into groups of controls, which you can access more fluidly with a continuous swipe on the home screen.
iPhone users will now have more control over control center with a control gallery. You can add or remove controls from the control gallery to display all your options in one place.
The control center supports the resize option to expand or change the size and create new control groups.
Apple Intelligence
This suite of AI features is coming to a few iPhones including the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The new generative AI features will allow these two devices to improve productivity with tools such as writing tools.
Apple has more pending AI capabilities in this segment, which will come later on.
