As for the security side, Apple has fixed tons of vulnerabilities in iPhones ranging from different generations of devices including iPad, you can read the full security patches here.

It’s not surprising that the company is not sending some new features to the users. Instead, it’s patching holes in the current version to support the upcoming iOS. In June, Apple released the first developer beta for iOS 17.6. Soon after, the company turned this into a public test.

For over a month, iOS 17.6 kept on rolling fixes and it led us to that issue originated in iOS 17.5. Following the installation, iOS 17.5 users began seeing their deleted photos in the gallery, this is one of the rarest malfunctions that appeared in iPhones.

In the middle of nowhere, we were also expecting iOS 17.5.2 to be released prior to this update but the information was scrapped and the version directly jumped to stable release.

Talking about the developers, the company has fixed some BlueTooth headphones that might not be usable as an audio output route with certain AVAudioSession configurations.
