Lucid previews Gravity SUV’s interior and space [Video]
Lucid has published Gravity electric SUV’s interior design and passenger accommodation in a three-row seat arrangement preview.
In the video, the company explained the miniaturized drivetrain and battery size. This approach has created more room for a better passenger experience in each row. One thing to notice is that the Lucid Gravity has premium material throughout the interior including seats to provide comfort for the journey.
The miniaturized architecture brings a unique fold-flat seating. The third seat could go down in the sub-trunk and create a flat cargo bed inside the cabin.
The rendering shows how it would work to reveal the entire height and space, which may not be seen in its competitors. Once folded, the cabin could create a cargo area of 106.9 cu ft, which surpasses Rivian R1S (around 104 cu ft).
A few days ago, the luxury EV maker started production preparations by rolling out the pre-production Gravity SUV through a paint shop and dropped into the general assembly line at the Casa Grande, Arizona facility.
Lucid aims to produce this EV by the end of this year followed by its sales.
This film does an excellent job of explaining how @LucidMotors Gravity can accommodate three rows of tall adults comfortably with space left for luggage or haul a full size refrigerator in the back with the second and third row seats folded flat. https://t.co/iIFHCDZVeS
