An alleged Tesla Model Y refresh image has surfaced on social media sites and it is well hidden with covers to keep the new changes secret. Still, I’ve extracted a few things from what we have.

The cover hides the frunk and headlights as well as the hood. However, the frunk is slightly uplifted compared to the current version. There are modifications in the headlights but the size cannot be seen.

The Upgraded Tesla Model 3 has slimmed the front design, creating a smooth line between the windshield and the bumper. The enhancement contributes to improved aerodynamics and optimized driving range.

Unlike Model 3, the Model Y focuses more on its position as a family car and reflects this stance in the outlook. The image shows that not much has been changed in the middle. The doors, windshields, mirrors, and windows are identical to the existing version.

The car is running Gemini wheels, 19-inch standard with the purchase package. But it also comes with optional 20-inch induction wheels at $2,000 additional. Since it’s an unknown test model, there might be other wheel options that may land later on.

The picture doesn’t have much to reveal on the rear side, which was also covered. That means there are some new changes made to the back as well.

The 2024 Model 3 in that case brings new taillights that are part of the trunk, which was parted into two in the previous version. The current Model Y also has similar taillight arrangements and the upcoming variant could refresh it with a modernized look.

Other than aesthetics, Installing an enhanced motor would do the work for the performance side, and using better material with ventilated seats would settle the comfort zone.

Eventually, there’s no confirmation whether this is a Model Y Refresh or another Tesla car. However, we’ll have to wait for new inputs to clear our doubts.
