iOS 17.6 Beta

Apple has released the first beta of iOS 17.6 for developers after last month’s iOS 17.5.1 release with fixes for bugs and other issues found in the Photos app.

This new build version comes after a week of the iOS 18 unveiling and brings plenty of new features for customers as well as new “Apple Intelligence” capabilities.

The changelog has nothing to reveal for the time being but it has a hefty 6.34GB of downloadable package. It suggests there might be some new changes coming to iPhone users later on.

This build requires a developer account. You need to navigate to the iPhone’s settings page and then enter the Software updates section to select beta updates mode to “Developer Beta”.

The update will pop up on the screen and download and you can install it right away or schedule it for the night. Notice that this upgrade will be available for public beta testers in the next phase.
