Rivian R2 and R3 are now on display in San Jose, CA

Rivian R2 display San Jose

Rivian displaying its new R2 and R3X electric vehicles (EV) at Santana Row, San Jose, California. These vehicles are on display starting April 18 (yesterday) to April 21, 2024.

This event will allow you to see R2 in person. You can interact with Rivian personnel at the showcase venue and learn more about its features and specifications. People can also schedule a demo drive for Rivian R1 and R1T vehicles.

Visitors have shared clips from the event on social media site X, formerly known as Twitter. The display also includes Rivian R3 vehicles.

Other than seeing these new Rivian EVs, visitors can meet other members of the Rivian community. The company has organized numerous activities and interactive events.

Thursday, April 18, Display at Santana Row Wine Stroll (5-7 pm).

  • Music event powered by Rivian.

Friday, April 19, Santana Row Residents Event (8-10 am).

  • Earth Day Programming: DIY Bird Feeders Activation with San Jose Public Library (4:30-5:30 pm).

Saturday, April 20, Northern California Community Gathering (8-10 am)

  • Connect with fellow EV enthusiasts to see new R2 and join chief software officer, Wassym Bensaid for coffee and Q&A.
  • Earn an extra entry for every new friend to Rivian you bring for a test drive.

Sunday, April 21, Boot Camp in the Park (9-10 am)

  • Cut Out Drought with Atelier AVEDA (12-4 pm): Cut-a-Thon featuring Rivian and donations will go to the Clean Water Fund.

Rivian R2 is the latest mid-sized electric SUV which will start at $45,000 and the company will start its delivery in the first half of 2026. Rivian R3X is a crossover and it will also be on sale in the same year.
