Kia EV6, EV9 and NIRO EV gets Tesla Superchargers access

Kia America has opened Tesla Supercharger access for its electric vehicles in the US, providing more than 21,500 DC fast chargers for its customers.
The charger access is provided for 2025 model year Kia EV6, 2026 model year of EV9, which comes with standard with NACS charging port as well as NIRO EV.
This extension allows Kia EV vehicle owners to get access to more chargers on their route planning than before. Vehicles with NACS port and NACS adapters can now charge at a Tesla Supercharger with the Kia Access app.
This will let you search, locate and navigate to a charging station with the EV’s front screen and via smartphones. Users can also search for charger availability, status, pricing, while charger booking will be available through the Kia Charge Pass program in the future.

After this addition, Kia has expanded its number of charging stations by more than 80 percent. Kia also condemned the attacks on Tesla superchargers.
“Tesla Superchargers are critical infrastructure, and Kia America condemns the recent attacks that disrupt the availability of convenient and affordable charging for our customers.” wrote Kia.
Existing Kia vehicles in the US with CCS1 charging port, getting NACS to CCS1 adapters via Kia dealers.
“With access to the Tesla Supercharger network of DC fast chargers, our EV owners can feel even more confident in their decision to purchase or lease a fully electric Kia vehicle” said Seungkyu Yoon, President and CEO, Kia North America and Kia America.
