Tesla launches non-Launch Series RWD and AWD Model Y in Korea
Tesla has launched two new non-Launch Series Model Y variants in South Korea including the RWD and AWD with lower price tags, bringing more affordability.
The company has been selling the new Model Y Launch Series for Asian customers since early January. This is a limited edition vehicle with a couple of special traits and badging.
The Launch Series was introduced at 73,000,000 Korean won, and it includes free configurations for colors, 20-inch Helix 2.0 wheels, white interior. However, the two new options increase a common factor, which is affordability.

RWD
The rear-wheel drive version is priced at 52,990,000 won, offering 400km of driving range, 201 km/h top speed and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds. It comes in five color options, but only Stealth gray is included in the package and the rest of them will have additional costs.
Moreover, the model only has 19-inch crossflow wheels and black and white interior options.
AWD
All wheel drive has 476 km of driving range, 201 km/h of top speed and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.8 seconds. It is priced at 63,140,000 won and there’s a 20-inch Helix 2.0 wheels option available for this version at 2,571,000 won.
