Tesla starts showcasing new Model Y in showrooms across Korea

Tesla officially started showcasing the new Model Y electric vehicle (EV) in showrooms across South Korea, and many visitors are coming to check the vehicle in person at different locations.

The company is currently showcasing the new Model Y at the following stores:

  • Yeouido — One IFC 1st floor, 10 Gukjegeumyung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
  • Gangnam — 1st floor, 726 Eonju-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
  • Hanam — 2nd floor, Starfield Hanam, 750 Misa-daero, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do
  • Bundang — 316 Daewangpangyo-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do
  • Daegu–Daegu Suseong-gu Dongdaegu-ro 7
  • Busan — Busan Haeundae-gu Centum 4-ro 15 Shinsegae Centum City Mall 1st floor

The model is currently not on display at Jeju store.

New Tesla Model Y on showcase in Korea

To be mentioned, the model on display is the Launch Series, a limited edition with free configurations priced at 73,000,000 won.

The new Model Y has a facelift featuring a lightbar, optimized wheels with better range efficiency. The rear side has a cross-car lamp with reflective lighting that provides a distinctive look compared to previous model.

The company has upgraded the front seats with heating and ventilation, adaptive light is installed through the deck and rear seats are now powered to incline and recline with a press of a button. The rear row also has a separate touch screen for passengers.

The Launch Series allows you to choose from three paints namely — Glacier Blue, Ultra red and Quicksilver. However, it’s expected that a more affordable Tesla Model Y RWD version could drop in Korea to 52.99 million won from early April.

For now, new customers won’t see an expected delivery date on the configurator.
