App code reveals early access Tesla program for pre-release software updates

A new Tesla app update published on the app store with version 4.43.5, and its decompiled content revealed an early access program, which could be a major feature addition for EV owners.
The privacy statement found in the decompiled files (via Tesla_App_iOS) confirms that this is a voluntary program. It allows users to experience pre-release software and provide feedback for improvements.
Tesla says that user data from the early access program participants will be stored to improve the offered software in pre-release phase. This data will be stored separately from the regular account.
The app also has important strings such as enroll and unroll, which indicates at two buttons that help the user to enroll for the early access and quit the program at any time.

Tesla releases system improvements, new features and full Self driving (FSD) versions via over the air (OTA) updates. Providing these through early-access would improve the user experience and help the company to gain direct user response to resolve issues before release. That will also result in a better end product for customers.
For now, the scope for this early access program is mentioned pre-release software but Tesla may bring more action in this category.
