xAI Grok chatbot is now available on Telegram

xAI has officially announced that its Grok AI chatbot is now available for Telegram, with this AI capability, users will be able to ask questions in a normal chatroom.

According to the information, Grok is only available to premium Telegram users. Unlike, non-premium X users, who also get limited access such as 10 messages or 2 hours of conversation with Grok AI. Therefore, the bot will only reply to premium Telegram users.

To use Grok, search for @GrokAI and start chat. By default, the chat room will open in “/start” if it doesn’t respond, try “/newchat” or “/help”.

For now, the chatbot will only work with basic features. Advanced capabilities such as Think and DeepSearch are only available on X and the dedicated Grok website.

If you don’t see the @GrokAI account, make sure to update the app and try again.

Grok AI Telegram

Grok is a large language model (LLM) based AI chatbot, first integrated on social media site X (formerly Twitter). The chatbot initially enabled text-to-text conversation for users. Since launch, xAI has released major upgrades, including generative image feature.

The bot can analyze an image and share the analysis with the user. Its standalone mobile app provides voice-to-voice conversation with natural language processing capabilities.

On the other hand, xAI has real-time search and source citation in replies. Furthermore, Grok can also edit images with a text description.

This integration is a first major expansion for xAI outside X social media and its standalone platform. However, the scope of this partnership remains unknown or its upcoming capabilities.
