xAI is planning to improve the long context response improvements for Grok AI chatbot with a soon to be released update to improve user experience.

This improvement will address the issue within long conversations by increasing the response speed after prompt. Issues raised by different users revealed that the response sometimes takes more than usual seconds. This delay hinders the conversation experience.

Andrej Karpathy, a previous Tesla executive, mentioned that maintaining a single ongoing conversation can create a ‘moat’ by deeply personalizing the AI’s understanding of the user. Improvements in response rate will allow the user to continue the conversation for a longer duration.

Grok is a large language model (LLM) based chatbot developed by xAI. The chatbot offers features including text-to-text, text-to-image and voice to voice conversations.

It is available on social media site X, on the standalone Grok website and mobile platforms including iOS and Android.

Grok has evolved as one of the most used chatbots with features such as image generations including realistic graphics thanks to the Aurora generative model.

You can upload an image and ask for its analysis, whether it’s a picture, a screenshot or a rough sketch. A recently introduced feature will let you edit the image with a prompt.

DeepSearch and DeeperSearch, these two features, are available for those who want to dive deep into any topic or try Think to get a grip of any context.

One of its newest capabilities is Ask Grok, users can mention the chatbot and get replies in the comments.
