Watch SpaceX Starship Flight 7 debris falling from space
SpaceX launched Starship Flight 7 and successfully caught the super heavy booster for the second time but the same didn’t happen with the second stage, as its debris was seen falling from the space.
The rocket maker has performed this launch nominal telemetry, taking the rocket into space and conducting hot-staging. This happened according to the launch timeline and the booster returned to Earth for tower landing.
On the other hand, the second stage also fired its six Raptor engines to reach the orbit. Soon after, its engine cutoff from the telemetry system and lost contact.
It was later confirmed that the vehicle experienced rapid unscheduled disassembly during the launch, which harmed the upper stage as it was making its way to space.
Visuals confirmed that the ship was about to begin the engine cutoff sequence, followed by Starlink payload simulator payload deployment demonstration.
The rocket maker has confirmed that the teams are evaluating the flight data and will improve the next launch vehicle design.
Meanwhile, people around the continent have spotted the Starship falling from space as its debris descends into many pieces and shines like meteors, watch all of the footage linked below.
