Tesla has released Model Y 2025 in China and other Asian markets and it is now being shipped out of the Giga Shanghai production factory to stores across the country

Video clips shared on X revealed several Model Y 2025 on transportation vehicles in different colors including silver and the new Glacier Blue. Notice that some of these vehicles have the Launch Series logo on the tailgate, while some of these are only spotted with a rear Model Y branding.

This could mean that the cars without the launch series label might be going for showcase in stores and the launch series branding might belong to delivery shipments. As shown on the official website, the Model Y launch series is for late April in China.

It is listed in two variants including Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range AWD but the company is yet to reveal the performance variant. It has five colors including the new glacier blue. These two come in 19-inch crossflow wheels and 20-inch helix 2.0 wheels.

Among the new upgrades, the front has a brand new lightbar, below that you will find two headlights. The front is redesigned with a more aggressive look for frunk and the bumper, looks sleeker.

The rear side has a new taillight integrated into the taillamp, which is more like a light bar but looks different due to the composition and an in-depth diffusion which highlights the rear Tesla branding.

Tesla is producing this Model Y 2025 in Giga Shanghai to export in the region. However, the Europe and North American launch is still pending.
