SpaceX Starship Stacked on the Launch Mount at Starbase, Texas

SpaceX has officially announced that Starship Flight 7 is now postponed to a day later on January 16, compared to a day earlier on January 15. The company took this decision due to the bad weather, which could cause problems in booster recovery operations.

The launch window will remain locked for 60 minutes, opening at 4 p.m. CT. This mega rocket will fly from Boca Chica, Starbase, Texas and the second stage will splash down in the Indian Ocean.

Starship has two stages, the first stage consists of 33 Raptor engines and it takes the integrated flight to space. After that, the booster returns to Earth and is designed to land vertically on the launch tower arms. On the other hand, the upper stage can carry large payloads to orbit and beyond.

This testing enabled SpaceX to test the launch vehicle and prepare it for commercial flight. The Flight 7 will include a next-generation Starship with numerous new upgrades. The company has also improved its aspects for future test flights to achieve maximum reusability.
