Honda and Acura EVs to get Tesla NACS access this spring
Honda has officially announced that its electric vehicles (EVs) along with Acura will get Tesla NACS support to access thousands of Superchargers this Spring. The company has confirmed that the existing Honda and Acura EV owners will get Supercharger access via adaptors. However, there are no availability or price announced in this matter.
Tesla has opened its Supercharger network to other EV companies across North America. There are more than 15,000 supercharging stalls available for non-Tesla EVs and the company continues to increase these numbers.
Major automakers such as Ford and Rivian have already released NACS to support their existing customers and planned native ports with new launches. Since last year, NACS has also been adopted by GM, Volvo, Polestar, and Nissan.
The company has listed BMW, Genesis, Hyundai, JLR, Kia, Lucid, and Mercedes-Benz on the coming soon page.
The existing EV customer can use the adaptor to turn CCS into a NACS port and access all Tesla Superchargers on the go.
