Tesla, SpaceX, xAI chief Elon Musk gets Neck Surgery
Elon Musk has confirmed that he recently went through a Neck Surgery and is under a recovery procedure. Musk is widely known for his big tech and automobile companies including Tesla, SpaceX, xAI, and others.
Musk shared this health update while replying to a follower via his X social media account. “Recovering from neck surgery. Hurts a lot, but it was necessary” he posted on Saturday.
In 2022, Musk acquired Twitter, now renamed X, for $44 billion and made many changes. He operates the social media site excessively via smartphone and remains attached to this device to communicate.
Musk says, he once participated in sumo wrestling and the outcome of that event smashed his neck. The world’s richest person also revealed that he had 5 neck and back surgeries throughout his lifetime. The third one, which was C5-06 fusion has helped him to reduce back pain.
“However, the nerve exiting the right facet is inflamed, and the orifice through which it exits needs to be increased. Basically, my spine got reamed” he shared in a post.
Musk, 53, has become more popular and controversial in the past few years. Though his achievements in tech industry are long-standing but his political inclusion has led to a mass surge in interest among people.
He also played a crucial role in getting former President Donald Trump back to the White House in the 2024 Presidential elections by pouring funding and personal campaigns.
After Trump’s landslide victory, Musk is named to run the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) alongside former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. DOGE aims to cut federal spending and reduce regulations to improve innovation in the country.
