Tesla launched Refreshed Model Y (2025) with facelift and light bars
Tesla has launched the Refreshed Model Y 2025 version with a design refresh and new elements that stand out from the previous generation.
This EV has a facelift, which looks more symmetrical and reminds us of Cybercab. The bumper and the frunk are flat thanks to the new slim headlights where both end meets together.
This could be the main highlight of the Model Y and other Model 3 or Y doesn’t offer headlamps except for Tesla’s Robotaxi.
The reduction in the total height of hose headlights is significant as they are bridged with a lightbar. In comparison, the front is now more steady and flat than the upgraded Model 3, which now separates these EVs from each other.
What’s new is that Tesla has installed a front view camera in the 2025 Model Y with a wide view and greatly improves the actually smart summon driving.
Tesla has included a rear brake light bar on the rear of the tailgate. Interestingly, this lightbar has integrated diffuse reflection through type taillight. And it’s customized, especially for Model Y to show the “Tesla” branding.
Going inside, the car has a new interior material and ambient lighting to set the mood for better driving. The second-row seats support automatic folding.
Furthermore, the front has a larger screen and the rear passengers will also have a screen for various in-vehicle controls, games, and media consumption.
The car also worked on improved network connectivity and signal strength, which means you will experience better calls, data transfers, and automatic door and frunk unlocking as you approach the vehicle.
The 2025 Tesla Model Y offers 2,130 liters of trunk storage and it will lift automatically when you approach from behind.
Tesla has currently launched Model Y 2025 in China and its launch in the US could happen this year.
