Grok iOS app 1.0.4 update brings control center, lock screen, Siri support and more
xAI has released a 1.0.4 update for the Grok standalone app for iOS users, enabling several new options and optimizing this chatbot for a better user experience.
According to the changelog, the major change in this update is highlighted as the wider iOS 18 integration.
You can now add Grok chatbot control from the Control Center gallery and access it with one tap. On the other hand, the Grok shortcut is added to the lock screen. You can also talk to Siri to launch the Grok app via voice command.
The Grok iOS 1.0.4 app update says to support posting on X. A new improvement is made to the jump-down scrolling button, which appears for long answers.
Meanwhile, iPad users can now run some basic Grok app features and full support might come in the near future. This app update also introduces new bug fixes to smoothen the user experience.
The settings section has added an option to “Hide keyboard on send” When you enable this feature, the keyboard will hide as soon as you send the question to Grok.
In the 1.0.3 version, xAI fixed regenerate capability, and improved web results, posts, and user interface.

Grok is a large language model designed and developed by xAI and the app is available only for iOS users. However, it’s still in early access and there are more improvements that are yet to be made.
