Rivian delivered 50K vehicles in 2024, meeting year-end target
Rivian has announced the fourth quarter and full-year delivery results for 2024 and delivered 50k electric vehicles (EV), meeting the year-end target after a recent revision.
During the fourth quarter, the company produced 12,727 vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois, and delivered 14,183 units.
Compared to this, the company produced 13,157 vehicles and delivered 10,018 vehicles in the third quarter. The Q4 2023, Rivian posted 17,541 vehicles production and delivered 13,972 units.
In Q3, the company revised its annual production guidance to between 47,000 and 49,000 vehicles. On the other hand, the delivery target was between 50,000 to 52,000 units.
Through the previous year, the company produced 49,475 vehicles and delivered 51,579 units, meeting the year-end target for 2024. Meanwhile, the EV maker is no longer facing component shortages for R1 and RCV platforms on Rivian’s platform.
To compare, Rivian has produced 57,232 vehicles and delivered 50,122 vehicles in 2023.
