Tesla delivered record 495K EVs and 11 GWh energy products in the Q4 2024

Tesla has shared the Q4 2024 delivery and production results for electric vehicles (EVs) and other energy products with a record new 495k deliveries through this quarter.

These delivery numbers were 495,580 and the production was 459,445 units. Among these, Model 3 and Y delivery and production figures are the following:

  • Model 3 and Y – 436,718 (production), 471,930 (deliveries)
  • Other models – 22,727 (production), 23,640 (deliveries)

During this quarter, the company deployed more than 11.0 GWh of energy storage products.

In Q4 2023, Tesla delivered 484,507 EV units and produced 494,989 units. Here are some specific figures:

  • Model 3 and Y – 476,777 units production, 461,538 deliveries
  • Other models – 18,212 units (production), 22,969 units (deliveries)

It means the company has increased year-over-year growth to around 2.28 percent compared to the last fourth quarter.

However, the production has declined by 7.18% in the fourth quarter compared to the same duration in 2023.

Let’s take a look at the most recent quarter. Tesla produced 469,796 vehicles in Q3 2024 and delivered 462,890 units. In the meantime, the company recorded sales and deployment for 6.8 GWh of energy storage products.

With this in the record, the quarter-on-quarter production has reduced by 2.2% but deliveries are up by 7.06%. Meanwhile, the company has achieved a whopping 61.76% QoQ growth in energy products for the fourth quarter.

Earning call

Tesla will share its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2024 after the market on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. The company will also host an earning call featuring CEO, Elon Musk on the same day at 4:30 p.m. Central Time (5:30 p.m. Eastern Time).
