SpaceX Falcon 9 launches 22 Starlink satellites (December 30, 2024)
On Saturday, December 30, 2024, SpaceX conducted a new Falcon 9 launch from California with a payload carrying 22 Starlink satellites. These are some of the latest missions contributing to the ever-growing satellite constellation.
The flight lifted off from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base with all Merline engines flying at full power. This mission was carried before the Astranis: From One to Many mission.
This new launch comes as the 16th flight for the first stage booster, which previously supported SARah-2, Transporter-11, SDA-0A, and 12 Starlink missions.
Before landing on a droneship, the booster exhausted the final burn and expanded its landing legs, check the event below.
