xAI confirms training status for Grok 3 with improved power
xAI has announced that its most powerful chatbot – Grok 3 is under training and will bring way more performance than Grok 2 with new technologies integration.
The latest announcement follows, xAI’s new Series C funding closure, raising $6 billion. The company will use this fund to improve its infrastructure and prepare future products.
Grok is an AI chatbot launched in November 2023. The initial version enabled users to conduct a conversation and get a reply. Since then, the company has made rapid progress in the development section, providing new features and capabilities to this large language model (LLM).
With v1.5, Grok has gained more power and performance. However, the series 2 models have changed the game with its advanced reasoning and fast response rate.
That’s not it, Grok 2 has received many new features including an image generation feature. You can type in an image description and get results in different variations. It can also suggest some related prompts to mix with creative ideas.
Similarly, you can upload images, screenshots, memes, or PDFs to analyze the content and get a better understanding of the content. You can ask the chatbot to convert a rough diagram into niche imagery.
This progress also includes the Aurora generative image model, which generates photo-realistic images. This model was developed in less than 6 months and is currently used under beta testing. It will be improved as more data is trained over time.
To make responses more creative and expansive, xAI has added a web search feature, allowing you to get information from the web and citations help you to verify the source.
The company also announced a standalone xAI mobile app with a tailored user experience. Currently, the app’s availability is limited to only a few markets, and an expansion is planned for later.
