Tesla is once again sending 30 days of free FSD (Supervised) trial to users across North America to celebrate the holiday season. The electric vehicle (EV) maker has been sending these trials since early 2024 and this is the third wave of this self-driving tech trial rollout.

“Your Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Trial starts now! You’ve been granted a complimentary trial of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) for your Model Y” mentioned in the trial announcement mail.

Users sharing this online revealed that Tesla owners with an FSD subscription are eligible for a 30-day trial. This will be added to your vehicle and start as soon as your current subscription ends.

Full Self Driving (FSD) is designed and developed by Tesla for its electric cars to drive autonomously but currently requires a human driver to monitor its semi-autonomous driving moves.

Its in-vehicle hardware enables Teslas to change lanes, navigate through a route, detect on-road objects and pedestrians to react in real-time, and make turns on their own. You can take over the vehicle if the vehicle makes any unusual move.

The company has recently started rolling FSD v13 for users, which means, new 30 days free trial users will get this build on their Tesla. However, it will be only available for AI4 (HW4) vehicles for this time while we’re waiting for v13 to rollout for HW3 vehicles.
