xAI has launched its Grok app for mobile devices, allowing you to chat directly via a standalone application with one click launch.

The company has listed this app on the App Store for Apple devices and its availability is limited due to the early adopter phase.

This is due to the app’s new environment and bugs, which may appear during the first release. Therefore, a vast rollout could hinder this experience. However, an expansion is likely to follow soon.

You can try downloading the Grok app for iPhones via this App Store link.

Launched late last year, Grok is a generative AI model, developed by xAI, a company founded by billionaire Elon Musk. The chatbot is designed to answer in formal and fun modes.

Users can access Grok on the web and mobile devices via X social media app (formerly Twitter). The chatbot was initially announced for Premium and Premium+ paid subscriptions. However, it recently became available for free users worldwide.

Still, free users will have limited play time with Grok. An upgrade to the premium tier will expand this access.

Similar to its competitors, xAI Grok provides users with answers to text queries. All you need to do is to describe the question and the chatbot will reply with the answer.

A few months ago, Grok gained an image generation feature, allowing you to generate images. With recent addition, the company has made significant progress in improving the image output with the Aurora image generator. This new imaging model produces photorealistic images compared to its predecessor.

There are a bunch of other features the company has added recently and you can access them from the home screen.
