SpaceX launches Falcon 9 rocket with 24 Starlink satellites to orbit (November 30)

On November 30, 2024, SpaceX launched a new Falcon 9 rocket mission to low-Earth orbit and the payload carried 24 Starlink satellites. The company has been ramping up satellites to improve connectivity including remote zones.

Falcon 9 lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The weather supported this mission and the engine ignited on full power with the first launch window.

This liftoff follows the recent 400th Falcon 9 mission and 375th overall landing for the first stage. Speaking of which, the booster completed 6th flight with this new launch. It previously supported CRS-31, Crew 8, Polaris Dawn, and two Starlink missions.

After stage separation, the first stage boostback to Earth and performed a final burn before landing on a droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
