Several unknown covered Tesla appear at Fremont factory
A new drone footage of the Tesla Fremont factory has revealed some unknown models covered but parked in the open. Even with covers, some interesting aspects of the cars can be seen from above.
The footage was captured on November 24 and posted on a YouTube channel showing nine Teslas in silver cover. That’s it, nothing to be seen in these cars except their shapes.
The first three models in the footage have high heights similar to Model Y. Past reports suggest that Tesla has been preparing a refresh for a long time and it’s nearing a release in China.
This new model will bring a redesigned front and rear compared to the existing model. It will have an improved interior consisting of ambient lighting and optimized designed materials for better comfort.
The rear trunk has a height similar to a Cybercab, which was recently revealed at the We, Robot event. This car is currently under testing at the production facility and the company might be producing them in low-quantity.
Fourth
The 4th from the left has an ambiguous appearance, it’s the smallest car in the row and looks more like a sedan rather than an SUV. It has a large rear trunk and frunk. Still, the height makes it more eye-catching over the cover compared to beneath the cover.
Affordable models?
Tesla has plans to rollout affordable models next year and these will be produced for mass market and rollout in 2025. However, the looks of these cars are still unknown.
What exactly is underneath the cover?
We don’t have the answer for the moment, it could be the upcoming Model Y refresh, Cybercab, a new sedan or roadster, maybe an affordable model, or anything else.
