Tesla is rolling out FSD for Cybertruck in Canada

Tesla is rolling out Full Self Driving (FSD) for the Cybertruck electric pickup truck in Canada, bringing the first self-driving software installation.

The company has released FSD for Cybertruck with software version 2024.39.5 including FSD v12.5.5.3. This version was also rolled out for Cybertruck in the US earlier with similar changes.

This is the first FSD version for Canadian Cybertruck owners and it enables supervised FSD to self-drive their electric trucks.

For starters, FSD enables your vehicle to self-drive in public and it can understand traffic signs, pedestrians, other vehicles, stop signs, and more to act accordingly.

It has a high-precision map on the front screen, which updates visuals in real time, showing you the car’s surroundings as it moves in the real world.

FSD uses Cybertruck’s onboard camera system to take feed and maneuver the car through different traffic conditions. However, FSD is not fully autonomous and requires the driver’s assistance to supervise the car’s movement. Therefore, you need to remain attentive on the road.

Here’s the changelog for this update which is now rolling out for users.

Last month, Tesla announced the Cyebrtruck launch in Canada followed by its deliveries earlier this month. This vehicle is now on sale for customers.
