Blue Origin New Shepard Lifting Off

On November 22, 2024, Blue Origin launched a new New Shepard rocket carrying an NS-28 crewed mission from Launch Site One in West Texas.

The crew included six passengers Emily Calandrelli, Sharon Hagle, Marc Hagle, Austin Litteral, and James (J.D.) Russell, and Henry (Hank) Wolfond.

This was the ninth human flight for the New Shepard program and the 28th overall mission. With this mission, the company has flown 49 humans above the Karman line.

After sending the crew capsule to the Karman line, the rocket landed vertically. After completing the space tour, the capsule landed on Earth following parachute deployment.
