Check Starship Flight 6 launch picture from International Space Station

SpaceX has successfully launched Starship Flight 6 and completed objectives for both stages including splashdown. Adding to this, we now have a picture of Starship Flight 6 from the International Space Station.

This integrated flight lifted off from Boca Chica Launch Site on the afternoon of November 19. With the power of 33 Raptor engines, Flight 6 left the launch pad and ascended toward the air.

A few hours ago, NASA astronaut Don Pettit shared a visual on social media site X for the aftermath of the liftoff. The image shows the top view of the Boca Chica launch site from the orbiting lab and highlights the white smoke and vapor produced by the integrated rocket.

The camera also picked up the dust particles with the initial engine ignition and liftoff. Moreover, you can see the hot-staging and second-stage engine ignition spots.

Pettit was launched to the Space Station with Roscomos Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft on September 11, 2024. He is currently serving as a flight engineer and member of the Expedition 72 crew. He will spend about 6 months at the orbiting laboratory before returning to Earth.
