The new generative AI feature is part of Grok 2 and Grok 2 mini models. You can access them via Grok’s home screen from the top of the screen.

To generate an image, type in a description and hit enter (send). Grok may take a few seconds before showing you the result. Below the image, you can see different options including download and sharing.

To improve the image generation experience, Grok will now suggest you predefined prompt related to the last generated image.

The new image generation ideas will appear below the image. For example, when you ask Grok to generate an “Image of mars city”, it will suggest more ideas as buttons “with futuristic skyscrapers” and “on Earth’s moon”.

You can click any of these to edit the generated image and mix it with these new prompts suggested by Grok. This loop of suggestions will continue with each image.
