Tesla offering 1 year of unlimited charging in Texas

Tesla has launched a promotional offer for customers in Texas that brings 1 year of free unlimited vehicle charging for $5 per month. However, the offer comes with certain conditions.

The unlimited charging applies for overnight charging and it’s available only to customers who order a new Tesla and take its delivery by December 31, 2024.

Also, you will have to sign up for the Tesla Electric Fixed Plan. The fixed plan allows you to power your home at an affordable rate with the following benefits:

1. Pay a flat energy rate for energy used to power your home during Standard Hours (4 AM to 12 AM)
2. Pay a lower energy rate for energy used to power your home during Wind Hours (12 AM to 4 AM)

The fixed plan takes benefits to the next level for customers with vehicles. Tesla owners can enjoy unlimited overnight charging at home for a low fixed monthly fee.

When you sign up for Tesla Electric, the vehicle is automatically scheduled to charge overnight. You can also charge your vehicle throughout the day at a low rate. The Electric Fixed allows you to benefit from the following.

• Pay a low fixed monthly fee for vehicle charging sessions between 12 AM and 6 AM
• Pay a flat energy rate for vehicle charging sessions between 6 AM and 12 AM

This fixed plan also applies to other EVs between 12 AM and 4 AM.

Furthermore, customers with Powerwall can earn credits by entering into the Tesla Virtual Power Plant and discharging energy back to the grid. You can earn a fixed VPP credit of $400 per year Powerwall and a competitive fixed rate for exporting stored Powerwall energy.

Eligibility

You have to be a resident of a Texas area which allows you to choose your electricity provider to grab $5 per month unlimited overnight charging with Tesla. This promotional offer will be available through 2024.
